Global Finance names the World’s Safest Banks 2010 in Australasia


NEW YORK, August 30, 2010 — Global Finance magazine ( has named the top 10 “Safest Banks in Australasia” in an exclusive survey to be published in the October 2010 issue. The banks were selected through a comparison of the long-term credit ratings and total assets of the largest banks. Ratings from Moody’s, Standard & Poor’s and Fitch were used.
