Jason Shell is the North American Head of Foreign Exchange. Deutsche Bank's FX business is the largest in the globe. The business covers a broad collection of clients including corporate, asset managers and financial institutions. The FX desk trades the full suite of FX products from spot to complex derivatives.
Jason is part of Deutsche Bank's Global Finance and Foreign Exchange committee. Jason has worked at Deutsche Bank for 14 years. He has worked as a structurer, vanilla options trader, exotic options trader and sales person. He has worked in New York, Singapore and London. Before Deutsche Bank Jason traded interest rate derivatives and worked at the New York Stock Exchange.
Jason received his undergraduate degree from U.C. Berkeley and his graduate degree from Columbia University.
Daniel Brehon joined Deutsche Bank in 2007. Daniel is a quantitative currency strategist, whose work covers macro trading issues in foreign exchange spot and options markets, as well as market bias and systematic model trading. His specialties include data release forecasting and long-term macro studies of the FX market.
Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Daniel earned a PhD in Economics from Columbia University in New York. His thesis focused on the prediction of local house price trends in the U.S. housing market. His undergraduate degree is from Stanford University, specializing in mathematics.
Tim Merrell is the business head for FX4Cash, a strategic joint venture initiative between Deutsche Bank's Global Transaction Bank and Global Foreign Exchange. In this role, Tim has global responsibility for expanding the FX cross-currency payment services to corporates and Financial Institutions across Deutsche Bank's Corporate Investment Bank. In addition, Tim is the Product Management head for Clearing where he is responsible for developing and delivering strategic client solutions across US Dollar, EUR and Multicurrency clearing.
Before joining Deutsche Bank in 2002, Tim worked at ABN AMRO where he led the financial institutions payments and collections product group covering the US Dollar and New York-based Euro clearing services. Tim has also worked for Chase Manhattan Bank in US Dollar product management.
Tim is a graduate of Syracuse University and has a Masters of Business Administration from Baruch College.
