NEW YORK, December 17, 2010 – Global Finance magazine (GFmag.com) has named the "Best Trade Finance Banks" by region and country in an exclusive survey to be published in the February 2011 issue. Global Finance editors — with input from industry analysts, corporate executives and technology experts — selected the best trade finance banks in 71 countries or regions. Criteria for choosing the winners included: transaction volume, scope of global coverage, customer service, competitive pricing and innovative technologies.

The Best Trade Finance Bank globally will be announced in the October 2011 issue.

"The availability of trade finance at reasonable prices is crucial to the health of the global economy," says Joseph D. Giarraputo. "We have selected the banks that are best serving the needs of corporations worldwide as they engage in cross-border trade."
