Danone S.A. (DANOY, BN.FR) is in talks to sell its medical nutrition unit to Hospira Inc. (HSP), The Financial Times reports Sunday citing people familiar with the situation.

According to the report, Hospira would acquire the unit in an almost $5 billion cash and stock deal. The acquisition could possibly allow Hospira to move its tax base to France, the FT said.
