PARIS--French economic growth will likely accelerate in the fourth quarter from the third, a survey from the Bank of France showed Wednesday.
Gross domestic product will rise 0.4% in the fourth quarter from the third, according to the Bank of France's business activity survey in October. The second largest eurozone economy grew a scant 0.2% in the third quarter. The forecast is the first to be released for the fourth quarter by the Bank of France.
Business sentiment in construction inched up to 99 in October from 98 a month earlier when the readings in manufacturing and services were unchanged at 99 and 97, respectively.
