BEIJING--China attracted $103.91 billion worth of foreign direct investment in the January-October period in dollar terms, up 0.2% from a year earlier, the Ministry of Commerce said Thursday.

The ministry didn't disclose the amount of foreign direct investment for October.

China's non-financial firms' outbound direct investment increased 53.3% compared with a year earlier in the January-October period to $145.96 billion, the ministry said.
