BEIJING--China recorded a $25.4 billion service trade deficit in November, widening from a deficit of $20.9 billion in October, according to data released by the State Administration of Foreign Exchange on Tuesday.

China's merchandise trade surplus stood at $45.9 billion for the month, compared with a surplus of $49.9 billion in October, the regulator said.

In November, China reported a service and merchandise trade surplus of $20.5 billion for the month, in comparison with a $29 billion surplus, according to the regulator.
