PARIS--French consumer confidence was flat in December, a survey from statistics agency Insee showed Wednesday.
The monthly survey showed the consumer confidence figure stood at 99 in December in line with expectations of analysts polled by The Wall Street Journal. Insee revised the reading for November to 99 from a previous 98.
The long-term average for the measures stands at 100, a level not seen since 2007.
