MOSCOW--Russian consumer prices rose 0.3% from Jan. 1 to Jan. 9, data from the Federal Statistics Service showed Wednesday.

Weekly inflation was up slightly, after growing an average of 0.1% in previous weeks. Prices rose 0.3% in the same period last year.

Last month, the Bank of Russia held its key interest rate at 10% going into 2017, given inflation risks.
