09:11 GMT Germany's manufacturing PMI hits a 3-year high in January but activity in the dominant services sector slips further, highlighting a growing divergence in Germany's private-sector economy. The manufacturing PMI rises to 56.5, beating forecasts, while the services PMI hits a four-month low of 53.2, according to data published by IHS Markit. As a consequence, Germany's composite PMI slips to 54.7 in January, a four-month low. But, generally speaking, companies expect "healthy growth in 2017," IHS Markit says. The company forecasts GDP growth of 1.9% this year, which would be the same rate as in 2016. (nina.adam@wsj.com)
