Are luxury cars untouched by economic slowdown and inflation? The latest results from Italian luxury automaker Lamborghini suggests so. CFO Paolo Poma believes the company can even improve its profitability, despite economic headwinds. Carlos Gomes enrolled in a two-year fast track management program with Millennium BCP and was chosen to integrate the consulting team set upto “reinvent banking in Portugal”, which led to the creation of ActivoBank in 2010. For almost two years he helped launch ActivoBank - managing IT developments regarding mobile, website and branch applications.
Following a brief stint back at Millennium BCP, Carlos returned to ActivoBank in 2012 leading a team with breakthroughs in QR-Code based P2P transfers, a total revamp of mobile apps, a paperless platform for digital account opening and several initiatives to bring universities closer to the bank.
Beginning 2015, Carlos took charge of ActivoBank’s innovation and remote channels teams.
