Global Finance Names The Safest Banks In Asia 2023
Global Finance has announced the Safest Banks in Asia as part of its 32nd annual ranking of the World’s Safest Banks. The full list is included here and will be published in the November print and digital editions, as well as online at GFMag.com.
The top ten Safest Banks in Asia are unchanged again for the second straight year. Singaporean banks took the first three spots, with DBS at #1. South Korea landed three banks on the list and China hit with two.
The full report includes the following rankings: World’s 50 Safest Banks, World’s 50 Safest Commercial Banks, Safest Banks by Country, Territory and District, 50 Safest Banks in Emerging Markets, Safest Islamic Financial Institutions in the GCC, and Safest Banks by Region (Africa, Asia, Australasia, Central & Eastern Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, North America and Western Europe).

Banks were selected through an evaluation of long-term foreign currency ratings—from Moody’s, Standard & Poor’s and Fitch—of the 500 largest banks worldwide.
