Asian rubber prices ended Thursday's session largely higher as prices continued their strong run higher.
The gains came against a backrop of increases in synthetic-rubber prices, expectations of demand growth and a forecast of a 2016 production deficit.
The Tokyo rubber futures contract has risen 16% since the start of November, while rubber futures trading on the Shanghai Futures Exchange are up 37% over the same period.
