Asian rubber prices ended Wednesday's session mixed amid light trading volumes that weighed on investor sentiment.
"Most participants remained on sidelines weighed by bearish sentiment with Japan closed for a national holiday," said a Singapore-based trader.
The most-active rubber contract on the Shanghai futures exchange for January delivery was down 35 yuan to settle at 17,535 yuan ($2,543) per ton.
The contract on Singapore's SICOM exchange for April delivery ended at 204.1 U.S. cents per kilogram, up 0.9 cent.
